Arzoo Sadiqi, MD |
Dr. Arzoo Sadiqi is a board-certified family medicine physician, Founder and Medical Director of SD Health & Beauty in San Diego, California, with a special interest in surgical and non-surgical hair restoration, regenerative aesthetics, and physician-led aesthetic medicine. Born in Afghanistan, where educational opportunities for women were limited, Dr. Sadiqi immigrated to the United States more than 25 years ago and went on to become the first female physician in her family. Her journey has shaped her commitment to education, mentorship, and helping others pursue opportunities that once seemed beyond reach. Dr. Sadiqi has developed a particular passion for hair and eyebrow restoration, combining medical and surgical approaches to create natural, individualized outcomes. She is an Associate Member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and a member of Women in Hair Restoration Surgery (WISHRS). She is also actively involved in physician education and hands-on training in follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair restoration techniques. As Founder and Medical Director of SD Health & Beauty, Dr. Sadiqi leads a physician-directed practice focused on evidence-based aesthetic medicine, hair restoration, health, and wellness. Her philosophy centers on combining science, artistry, and individualized care to help patients look and feel like the most confident version of themselves. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Sadiqi is passionate about advancing physician education, supporting women in medicine, and sharing the lessons of her own journey; from an immigrant child with limited opportunities to a physician, educator, and entrepreneur. |
