Dr. Judy Wei is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, a fellowship trained advanced laparoscopic surgeon, a cosmetic gynecologist and a perfectionist who strives to provide the best care for her patients. Dr. Wei graduated with honors from Keck Medical School of USC with an M.D. degree in 2006. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the LAC+USC Medical Center in 2010, where she received the USC Medical Student Teaching Award, the Nurses' Choice Award for Excellence in Patient Care, and was awarded Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery (MIGS). Dr. Wei subsequently completed a two-year fellowship in MIGS at USC, specializing in advanced laparoscopic surgery. She was recruited to Keck Medical Center as Assistant Professor of OBGYN. As the MIGS Education Director, Dr. Wei helped develop the curriculum for MIGS. She trained medical students, residents, and fellow physicians advanced laparoscopic skills in the classroom, animal lab, and operating room settings. Dr. Wei’s mission to build a comprehensive women’s health center was realized in 2014 when she founded Capri Medical Group, a private practice specializing in personalized obstetrical, gynecologic and cosmetic gynecologic care in Irvine, California. Driven by her patients' requests to solve their intimacy and cosmetic needs over the years, Dr. Wei expanded her services and established WEI Aesthetic Institute. With a fully accredited operating theater, this state-of-the-art center offers an array of services and technologies to treat women’s intimate, body, and skin concerns, focusing on restoring women's function and enhancing their appearance following pregnancy, childbirth, and the overall aging process. Armed with her strong surgical background, her love and expertise in women's health, her relentless drive to improve and her instinctive sense of beauty, Dr. Judy Wei perfects the balance of science and art and is devoted to delivering the best to her patients. |
