Dr. Kash is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained hair restoration surgeon who is passionate about and experienced in the diagnosis and management of all forms of hair loss. Dr. Kash obtained her doctor of medicine at the University of Texas at Houston where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering and her dermatology residency at the joint program of the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She served as Chief Resident during her senior year. She then went on to complete an International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS)-approved Hair Restoration Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Matt Leavitt. She then co-founded Root Hair Institute in Bellevue, Washington in order to provide excellent comprehensive care to those with hair loss. She is committed to teaching, research, and providing excellent patient care. She currently is co-editor of the official journal of the ISHRS, the Hair Transplant Forum International. She regularly has students and residents shadow her clinic from the University of Washington Department of Dermatology. She frequently gives lectures on hair loss and restoration at dermatology residencies across the country. She also serves on the ISHRS Fellowship Committee, reviews manuscripts for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, and has published numerous articles and textbook chapters. |
