Carey J. Nease, MD, is a triple board-certified, fellowship-trained, facial plastic and cosmetic surgeon who performs a wide range of procedures with an exceptional talent in aesthetic surgery for the face and neck. Dr. Nease is well known for his expertise in facial plastic and cosmetic surgery. Having trained as an artist before turning to medicine, Dr. Nease is renowned for his unique ability to paint beautiful portraits with his hands. With 20 years of experience, he has performed more than 10,000 surgical procedures.

Dr. Nease is triple board-certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He’s been a highly respected teacher at AACS-sponsored workshops for over 10 years, and he presided as Co-Chairman of the AACS fall symposium of cosmetic surgery in Hawaii in the fall of 2011. He has been invited to lecture at the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery meeting in London, England in September of 2019. His research has been published in numerous aesthetic surgical journals and he has contributed to several textbooks on complete facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty. Dr. Nease is a trustee of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the 2018 President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS), and current Treasurer of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. |
