Dr. Filiberto Rodriguez, MD, FACS, FAACS is the Founder and Medical Director of RGV Cosmetic Surgery and Vein Care in South Texas. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and also a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Rodriguez attended Princeton University and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed nine years of General, Thoracic, and Cardiovascular surgical training at Stanford University, after which he ultimately chose to pursue training in general plastic surgery at UCLA and complete an AACS cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Body Sculpting Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Rodriguez is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.  He also serves as a Trustee and Oral Board Examiner for the ABCS. Dr. Rodriguez has authored and/or co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and has presented at over 50 international conferences. His areas of expertise include breast and body cosmetic surgery and varicose vein disease.
