Dr. Marisha Lockwood-Chilcott is a Board Certified Family Physician who has found her passion with medical aesthetics. Although, she still loves medicine and continues to practice a tiny bit by serving as the primary care doctor for three homes of developmentally delayed adults and working an occasional hospitalist shift at Petaluma Valley Hospital, she is delighted to spend my days helping her clients love the person in the mirror more.
Dr. Lockwood-Chilcott attended UC Berkeley and earned a BA in Mathematics. After an initial career in consulting and software product development for public utilities, she went back to school and received her M.D. from UC Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Lockwood-Chilcott completed Family Practice residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, where she subsequently worked as an ER physician for six years. Dr. Lockwood-Chilcott came to Santa Rosa to join her father-out-law, Dr. F. Scott Chilcott in private family practice. They had the opportunity to work together until he retired in 2013. Dr. Lockwood-Chilcott founded Morpheus Medical Aesthetics in 2009 while she was still primarily a geriatrics specialist, but since 2014, she has shifted her focus from illness to vitality and now spends most of her time performing aesthetic procedures as well as coaching clients toward maximally healthy lives. Dr. Lockwood-Chilcott is a Fellow in the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. She enjoys training physicians and nurses to perform cosmetic injections at the office in Santa Rosa and speaking at conferences on emerging technologies and techniques. |
