Bonakdar Institute was founded by Monica Bonakdar, MD an Orange County native, UC Irvine and UCLA alumnus. At the beginning of her career in medicine, Dr. Bonakdar decided to leave behind general medicine, and to focus her entire practice exclusively on non-surgical aesthetic medicine. She has since transformed Bonakdar Institute from its infancy into a flourishing state of the art, technologically advanced practice where science and beauty merge. With the volume of cosmetic patients she has treated, Dr. Bonakdar has accumulated extensive expertise and has become an industry leader and educator in her field. She has created her own filler treatment technique called AmpliPhi and her own clinical skincare line called MonBon.
