Robert J Troell, MD, FACS completed a residency and fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. After his training, Dr. Troell joined the world’s premier surgical group for upper airway reconstructive surgery and facial plastic surgery. His first board certification was by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery followed by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He practiced as a Clinical Professor at Stanford University Medical Center for seven years. Dr. Troell became the first surgeon board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He also is a Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Troell is recognized by his expertise in a wide range of facial cosmetic surgery procedures including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelift, and comprehensive facial volume replacement by being a select few surgeons teaching facial implant surgery, facial fat transfer and being in the top 1% of injectors for permanent (Bellafill) fillers. He was moderator and hands-on instructor at the largest aesthetic conference in the world, The Aesthetic Show, for almost a decade. Expanding into body cosmetic surgery, he subsequently became a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, which he is currently an oral board examiner. He is an Adjunct Professor at Touro University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and was the leading physician there teaching graduate medical education courses. He has been medical director completing 26 live surgical seminars on total body contouring and high-definition VASER liposculpture with fat and stem cell fat grafting. Dr. Troell has presented over 200 domestic and over 50 international presentations, 18 book chapters and over forty peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts. |
