She then proceeded to open her practice in Miami, Florida. In 2014, Dr. Scemla moved to Hawaii to introduce and initiate the Aesthetic Medicine Program at the Four Seasons, Maui, Hawaii. In a short period, she became recognized for her perfection, attention to details, conservative approach, quickly bringing patients nationwide to follow her to be treated by her. From there, she moved on to open her own practice in several locations on Maui and continues to see some private patients in Kihei, Hawaii. In 2020, Dr. Scemla turned her main focus to education in non-invasive cosmetic surgery. Over the years, she has observed an increasing amount of botched results and complications from other providers, due to a lack of medical education in the aesthetic field. For this reason, she wanted to raise awareness to yield safe and natural results. To date, Dr. Scemla has trained over 1500 healthcare professionals nationwide. In addition, Dr. Scemla has a special interest in helping patients improve from symptoms of facial paralysis with neuro-modulators.
