Dr. Sean Satey, MD FACS was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He completed his pre-medicine studies and earned a four-year bachelor degree with high honors distinction at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Satey continued his education at the esteemed George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWU) where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) with completion of a rigorous Research Track. With a strong passion in surgery, Dr. Satey attended a five-year general surgery residency program at the University of California Riverside with emphasis in trauma, critical care, and minimally invasive surgery. Amongst being honored as the UCR Intern of the Year, Dr. Satey authored two book chapters in vascular and robotic surgery. Dr. Satey then completed a highly competitive cosmetic surgery fellowship through with the past-president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in San Diego, California. Dr. Satey has authored numerous surgical research projects which have been presented nationally. After his training, Dr. Satey has continued his learning under world renown experts in VASER and Renuvion where he has performed over 500 procedures in high definition liposculpting and body contouring in a single year. He has also been inducted into the board of trustees for the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, become a key opinion leader for Apyx Medical (Renuvion J-Plasma) and authored several papers in Cosmetic Surgery alone. |
